Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Travel Itinerary Template, which runs travelitinerarytemplate.app. By using the site you accept them. If you use it for an organisation, you accept them on its behalf. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

2. The service

We offer day-by-day travel itineraries you can edit in your browser, an AI chat that adapts them, downloads in several formats, and a traveller stories blog. Most of it is free. Pro is a paid subscription that removes the daily AI chat limit. We may add, change or remove features; if we remove a paid feature you rely on, we will tell you and you can cancel.

3. Accounts

You need an account to subscribe or publish stories. Give a working email address, keep access to it secure, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You must be at least 16.

4. Pro subscription and billing

• Price. The price is shown before checkout in your local currency (US$5.99 per month in the US). Taxes such as VAT may be added depending on where you live.
• Renewal. Pro is billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renews automatically until you cancel.
• Cancelling. Go to Account → Manage billing. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
• Refunds. See our Refund Policy, including a 14-day refund on your first payment.
• Price changes. We will email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription, so you can cancel first.
• Failed payments. If a renewal can’t be charged, Stripe will retry for a short time; after that Pro ends and your account returns to Free.

5. Fair use

Free accounts get 10 AI chat messages a day. Pro chat is unlimited for personal use, with a fair-use ceiling of 200 messages a day to stop automated abuse. Limits are counted per account and per network. Please don’t:

• scrape the site, call our APIs from scripts, or resell the service or its content;
• try to get around limits, payments or security, or disrupt the service;
• use AI chat to produce content unrelated to planning travel, or anything illegal or harmful.

6. Travel information is a starting point

Our itineraries are editorial suggestions built from official tourism guides, community guides such as Wikivoyage, and our own research. Times, distances and transport are estimates. We don’t verify opening hours, prices, availability, accessibility, visa rules or safety, and we are not a travel agent. We don’t sell or arrange bookings. Always check with the venue, operator or official travel advice before you go, and use your own judgement on the ground.

7. AI output

AI chat suggestions are generated automatically and can be wrong, out of date or unsuitable. New places the AI adds are matched against map data where possible and are marked when they couldn’t be verified. You decide what to keep. You may use the edited itinerary however you like.

8. Traveller stories you publish

You keep ownership of what you write. By publishing, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and format it on the site and in our promotion of the site, until you remove it (copies already shared may remain). You promise that the story is your own experience, that you have the right to publish it, and that it doesn’t:

• break the law, infringe anyone’s copyright, or copy text from other websites;
• contain hate, harassment, threats or sexual content;
• reveal other people’s private information;
• advertise, include undisclosed paid promotion, or mislead readers.

We may hide or remove stories, and suspend accounts, that break these rules. To report a story, or to ask us to remove content that infringes your rights, email support@travelitinerarytemplate.app with the link and the reason.

9. Third-party content and links

Photos come from Wikimedia Commons under their own free licences and are credited on each page. Some route text adapts Wikivoyage content under CC BY-SA. External traveller stories link to independent blogs we don’t control; their content and policies are their own.

10. Our content

The site design, code, logo and our curated itinerary collection belong to us. You may use itineraries and the files you download for your own trips and share them with your travel companions. Please don’t republish our collection in bulk.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed connections, closed venues, lost bookings or travel costs. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if greater. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that the law says can’t be limited, or liability for death, personal injury or fraud caused by our negligence.

12. Ending your use

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms; if we close a paid account without cause, we refund the unused part of the period.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date, and email Pro subscribers about significant changes at least 30 days ahead. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the operator is established. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can bring claims in its courts.
